Microblading Revision Reality

Have you had Microblading or an eyebrow tattoo before? 

Whether you have had Microblading, Shading, an eyebrow tattoo or all of the above, it is likely you will need to have a revision on your next treatment. If you have had previous microblading, shading and/or an eyebrow tattoo please text or email us pictures before scheduling. 

It is more challenging and time consuming to go over other microblading artist’s work and it is likely that they will need a color correction and/or shape correction. We can make some major adjustment to the color, using corrective pigments for shading to balance out undesirable colors. For example, previous microblading can sometimes heal warm(orange or pink) or cool(grayish or blue). We would use tones in the opposite end of the color wheel to correct these colors. Then using our target color(the color that matches your brow hairs) we finish off the treatment. This will give you the most natural results.

It is important to note that we cannot remove color. So we can vastly improve an undesirable shape, especially when we have the ability to add thickness marginally. Doing a shape correction in this way will make the brows slightly larger. 

However if your previously microbladed brows are already too big for your preference and you want to change the shape of them, or make them smaller, it might be a better option to wait until they have faded more before having your revision treatment. 

One of the reasons we request that you text is to approve of whether or not we feel you are a good candidate at this time for one based on how your brows look, your expectations and desired outcome.  

These are considered revisions and are charged at a different price point. There would still need to be two treatments to cover up the old work. This would include corrective mapping of the shape, microblading, corrective shading and shading with the target color.
